Brief Analysis Of The Causes Of Deformation In The Production Of Stainless Steel Pipe Stamping Elbows
Stamping elbows are divided into cold stamping and hot stamping. Cold stamping or hot stamping is usually selected according to the material properties and equipment capacity. The forming process of cold extruded elbows is to use an elbow forming machine to put the tube blank into the outer mold. After the upper and lower molds are closed, the tube blank moves along the reserved gap between the inner and outer molds under the push of the push rod to complete the forming process.
Below, let's briefly analyze the reasons for deformation in the production of Stainless Steel Weld Elbow:
1. Convert straight pipes into curved pipes with different curvature radii, such as elbows, elbows, etc.;
2. Stainless steel accessories elbow variable diameter pipe fittings, which refers to the reduction of the diameter of the pipe end or a part of the pipe; pipe fittings with curling and bottom sealing, increase the total strength of the pipe end, curl the pipe to the outside or inside of the pipe, or seal the end of the pipe fitting.
3. Stainless steel stamping elbows with variable wall thickness refer to pipe fittings with wall thickness changed along the length of the pipe;
4. Pipe fittings with changed cross-sections, according to requirements, change the circular cross-section into square, elliptical, polygonal, etc.;
5. Flanges refer to pipe fittings with convex ends to the inside or outside, and round edges: pipe fittings with ridges or grooves formed in the circumferential direction of the pipe;
Stamping elbows are a forming process used in the early batch production of seamless elbows. In the production of elbows of common specifications, they have been replaced by hot pushing or other forming processes. However, in some specifications of elbows, due to small production quantities and excessively thick or thin wall thickness, they are still used when products are required. The stamping forming of elbows uses a tube blank with the same outer diameter as the elbow, and uses a press to directly press and form it in the mold.
