Quality Inspection And Application Environment Of Stainless Steel Alloy Pipe Elbows
Stainless Steel Weld Elbow is used in power, mining, metallurgy and other industries. The transportation and output of materials are all short-distance and high-pressure transportation, which can withstand considerable pressure.
About the quality inspection and application environment knowledge of stainless steel alloy C-276 UNSN10276 and Incoloy800 pipe fittings elbows:
1. Alloy elbows are inspected according to the items and requirements specified in the corresponding technical documents;
2. When the mechanical properties of alloy elbows are unqualified, they can be repeatedly heat treated, but the number of repeated quenching or solid solution is generally not more than two times. The supplementary tempering of the workpiece is not counted as repeated treatment;
3. Alloy elbows after quenching or low-temperature tempering should be preheated, annealed or high-temperature tempered before repeated quenching;
4. The original record of heat treatment should be properly kept for inspection.
Alloy elbows are mainly used to connect stainless steel pipe fittings in pipeline installation and to connect elbows. Connect two pipes with the same nominal diameter to bend the pipe 90° or other angles. Alloy elbow is a general term for various elbows, and its materials are varied, such as carbon steel, manganese steel, nickel steel, etc. Alloy elbows are widely used. Ordinary bronze alloy elbows are more common in ordinary tap water pipes, but with the improvement of living standards, many tap water pipes use stainless steel elbows. Alloy elbows made of manganese steel are usually used in concrete pipes, mud pipes and other pipes with severe wear and consumption, because manganese steel has good performance of not being afraid of impact, extrusion and material wear. Nickel steel alloy elbows are usually used in oxidizing acids (nitric acid, sulfuric acid) and other normal temperature pipelines, and high manganese steel alloy elbows are used for pipelines with violent fluid flow and large impact. However, unless the concentration of hydrochloric acid is very low, the pipeline of reducing acid (hydrochloric acid, dilute sulfuric acid, etc.) will be severely corroded. Martensitic alloy elbows have good high temperature strength, chemical reactivity resistance and water resistance below 650℃, and have gas phase corrosion ability, but poor weldability. Therefore, they are often used in high-temperature steam transmission pipelines and water-gas pipelines.
