Stainless steel pipe elbows are mainly used as a kind of connecting pipe fittings in pipeline installation, and are used for connecting at the bend of the pipeline. Connect two pipes with the same nominal diameter to make the pipeline turn 90 degrees. The heating methods of the forming process include medium-frequency or high-frequency induction heating (the heating coil can be multiple coils or single coil), flame heating and reverberatory furnace heating. The heating method used depends on the requirements of the formed product and the energy situation. In the power, mining, metallurgy and other industries, alloy elbows can withstand considerable pressure in the transportation and output of materials in close-range and high-pressure transportation. Ordinary bronze alloy elbows are more common in general tap water pipes, but with the improvement of living standards, many tap water pipes have been replaced with stainless steel elbows.

Considering the stability of use and service life, the main focus is on improving the toughness, impact resistance and resistance of the pipeline lining. At the same time, the overall strength of the pipeline and elbow should also be considered. Alloy elbows are a general term for a variety of elbows. Its materials are diverse, and the common ones are carbon steel, manganese steel, nickel steel, etc. Alloy elbows are widely used. The alloy elbow forming process has the characteristics of beautiful appearance, uniform wall thickness and continuous operation, which is suitable for mass production.

Stainless Steel Weld Elbow Quality Inspection:

1. Stainless steel elbows are inspected according to the items and requirements specified in the corresponding skill documents;

2. When the mechanical properties of stainless steel elbows are unqualified, they can be repeatedly heat treated, but the number of repeated quenching or solid solution treatments generally does not exceed two times. Supplementary tempering of the workpiece is not counted as repeated treatment;

3. Alloy elbows after quenching or low-temperature tempering should be preheated, annealed or high-temperature tempered before repeated quenching;

4. The original heat treatment records should be properly preserved for inspection.

Stainless steel elbow finishing:

1. According to the requirements and surface conditions of the alloy elbows, alkali washing, water-soluble cleaning agents, chlorine solvent sandblasting, shot blasting and other methods are used for finishing;

2. Alloy elbows are generally not finished by pickling.

Alloy elbow calibration:

1. Alloy elbows should be corrected with static loads, and partial tapping is generally not recommended;

2. After correction, alloy elbows should be subjected to stress relief annealing at a temperature lower than the original tempering temperature.
