Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings And Elbow Workpiece Requirements And Surface Cleaning
The chemical composition of stainless steel in stainless steel elbows will keep the surface of stainless steel elbows from being corroded and rusted for a long time. Correct cleaning of stainless steel pipe fittings can improve their performance and extend their service life.
1. Use alkali cleaning, water-soluble cleaning agent, chlorine solvent sandblasting, shot blasting and other methods to clean according to the requirements of the workpiece and the surface condition;
2. Clean Stainless Steel Weld Elbow, generally do not use pickling method for cleaning.
The welding rod should be kept dry when used. The titanium calcium type should be dried at 150℃ for 1 hour, and the low hydrogen type should be dried at 200-250℃ for 1 hour (it cannot be dried repeatedly, otherwise the coating will crack and peel off easily). Prevent the welding rod coating from sticking oil and other dirt, so as not to increase the carbon content of the weld and affect the quality of the weldment. When welding elbows, carbides are precipitated by repeated heating, which reduces corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. The hardening after welding is large and cracks are easy to occur. If the same type of welding rod is used for welding, preheating above 300℃ and slow cooling treatment of about 700℃ after welding must be carried out. If the weldment cannot be subjected to post-weld heat treatment, chromium-nickel stainless steel electrodes should be used.
