Stainless Steel Weld Elbow is relatively simple to make and has a wide range of applications. It is mainly suitable for pipeline systems with corrosive media; elbows and flat welding rings can be made of different materials to reduce elbow costs and improve performance. The sealing surface of the elbow has a convex surface, a concave and convex surface, and a tongue and groove surface. The parts that connect the pipes to each other are connected to the pipe ends. There are holes on the elbows, and bolts make the two elbows tightly connected. The elbows are sealed with gaskets.

What mistakes should be avoided in the manufacturing process of stainless steel pipe fittings?

1. Instability does not only occur under tensile stress, but also under compressive stress. This type of quality defect occurs when the pipe with thick wall is bent.

2. Cross-sectional shape distortion In the process of pipe bending, if necessary measures are not taken (such as filling the pipe with material or placing a mandrel support, etc.), the cross-section of the bent pipe is easy to become elliptical when there is no internal support.

3. Wall thickness thinning and wrinkling, such as thinning of the wall thickness outside the bending deformation zone. The part with large thinning is at the place of large deformation. When the thinning is excessive, the pipe will rupture. From the perspective of deformation mechanics, it is a problem of excessive plastic hoop tensile stress.

4. If the inner side of the bending deformation zone will produce increased wall thickness. If the deformation is too large, the inner wall will be unstable and thickened, and wrinkles will appear in severe cases.

In addition, the exposed processed surface should be kept clean and dust-free, and neatly stored in a ventilated and dry place indoors. Stacking or outdoor storage is prohibited. Always keep the elbow dry and ventilated, keep the device clean and tidy, and store it in accordance with the correct storage method. When installing, the elbow and bend can be directly installed on the pipeline according to the connection method, and install according to the direction of use. Under normal circumstances, it can be installed at any position of the pipeline, but it needs to be easy to operate and check. Pay attention to the flow direction of the medium of the cut-off elbow should be from the bottom of the longitudinal valve disc to the top, and the elbow and bend can only be installed horizontally. Pay attention to the sealing when installing the elbow to avoid leakage and affect the normal operation of the pipeline. When the ball valve, stop valve and gate valve of the elbow bend are used, they can only be fully opened or fully closed. They are not allowed to be used for regulating flow to avoid erosion of the sealing surface and accelerate wear. There are reverse sealing devices in the gate valve and the upper threaded stop valve. The handwheel is rotated and tightened to prevent the medium from leaking from the packing.

The process parameters that affect the geometric shape of the pipe fittings are: the material, wall thickness and outer diameter of the blank for pushing, the material and shape of the mandrel head, the heating temperature and its distribution, and the pushing speed. The pipe fittings are made of malleable cast iron and are used for the connection of water supply pipes, steam pipes, gas pipes, and oil pipelines. The material and thickness of the stainless steel stamping elbow depend on the material, shape, size, and fluid medium and pressure of the pipe fittings used. When using short radius elbows, any defects that do not meet the technical requirements must be repaired in time (such as serious unqualified and cannot be repaired, they must be directly discarded). Common angle bends of welding quality are not easy to damage.

In order to prevent cold cracks in stainless steel stamping elbows during use, they need to be preheated by carbon tubes before leaving the factory. After preheating, the heat affected zone of stainless steel can be reduced. At the same time, preheating can also improve the plasticity of stainless steel stamping elbows. In this way, after welding, the remaining stress can be reduced. The preheating temperature of different types of steel is also different, but this process is generally completed during the welding process. We can adjust the preheating temperature when preheating the parts according to the welding requirements.
