Stainless Steel Barbed Hose Fitting
Multipurpose barbed combination nipples connect hoses and pipe of the same thread size in multipurpose hose assemblies. These short fittings have various connection types on one end and raised ridges (or barbs) on the other end that grip the inside of hoses to hold them in place. They are secured with a clamp for a leak-resistant seal. They are suitable for low-pressure applications in the food and beverage, marine, and chemical processing industries, such as light-duty suction or low-pressure discharge of water and other liquids.
This product is not intended for potable water applications (human consumption – drinking and cooking) and has not been designed to be compliant with the “Safe Drinking Water Act” requirements for low lead in potable water applications. This item is for use only in non-potable (non-human consumption) water applications.
